Beginner Level in Carnatic Music



At the beginner level, students focus on:
Basic Notes: Learning the seven main notes (sa, re, ga, ma, pa, da, ni).
Geethams in easy raagams -Practicing easy pieces to get comfortable with singing and playing the instrument.
Ragas and Talas: Getting to know basic melodies (ragas) and rhythms (talas).
Singing Techniques: Developing good singing habits and breath control.
Listening: Improving skills to recognize different raagams and rhythms.
Regular Practice: Building a routine to practice which is absolutely essential to grow steadily.
This level is all about laying a strong foundation for future learning!
